Osho Vipassana Retreat
"I'm simply saying that there is a way to be sane.
I'm saying that you can get rid of all this insanity created by the past in you.
Just by being a simple witness of your thought processes" ~ Osho ~

Osho brings a new approach to vipassana meditation to assist the needs of modern man who is constantly in turmoil and extremely busy coping with the faster rhythms of life.
Osho makes meditation a simple, enjoyable experience without involving any austerity or outdated traditions. In this retreat, men and women eat together, meditate together and share together in awareness and silent communion.
Vipassana is just the simple process of watching the breath moving in and moving out - watching the actions of the body, thoughts, feelings, emotions and moods. Not identifying, judging, evaluating or discriminating.
As well as silent sitting, the retreat includes:
* Osho discourses on the Vipassana technique and meditation
* Vipassana Walk (a slow, centering awareness walk)
* Osho Kundalini (an active meditation technique to release
repressed emotions) making it easier to relax and sit silently.
* A silent bush walk in nature to connect with the senses and
move stagnant energies which are getting in the way of us
opening up to a greater cosmic awareness.
* Delicious vegetarian meals
| Bring your own bedding, towel, torch, shawls, blanket, umbrella, walking shoes, cushion and an alarm clock. Accommodation is in simple, clean, bush style cabins located in natural setting or bring your own tent or van. The Bush Sanctuary is alcohol, cigarette and drug free.
Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered by Gautama Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal Art of Meditation. Vipassana is a way of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind, emotions, memories, breathing and body. Through the direct experience of natural flow, life becomes characterised by increased awareness and peace.
